Already, Musk’s lackeys—including more senior staff from xAI, Tesla, and the Boring Company—have taken control of the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) and General Services Administration (GSA), and have gained access to the Treasury Department’s payment system, potentially allowing him access to a vast range of sensitive information about tens of millions of citizens, businesses, and more…The Associated Press reported that DOGE personnel had indeed accessed classified material.

Is this really a Coup?
Yes, it is.
Like a lot of people, we have been screaming about what would happen if there was another Trump presidency. He should have been held accountable for his attempted coup, the “insurrection” of January 6, 2021. But the Biden administration was aimless and shiftless and didn’t do anything until it was too late. Harris kept saying that Trump was a threat to democracy, but she sure didn’t act like a candidate who was the last line between America and fascism.
So here we are.
We were not expecting “a white South African Nazi and his young fanboys take over the government payment systems” to happen. But it has.
We have realized that our friends, family, and neighbors are not as informed (or as freaked out) as we are. They aren’t watching the coup happen in real time because CNN, the NY Times, and even MSNBC have dropped the ball. So we are here to answer the question:
Is this really a Coup?
Yes, it is.
That said, we are not just going to behave like Congressional Democrats and lie down. Instead, we will share news sources we trust and actions you can take. Do you have family who don’t understand what is happening? We will help you break it down for them and you. Do you know people who don’t understand what cutting off federal payments means for them? We are going to provide some answers.
This is a community project to document and educate on the Coup.
We are focused on creating resources, linking to other projects, supporting mutual aid efforts, and building community. This is part of our attempt to do that. We are not getting paid for this. We can not keep up with the firehose of shit. We are instead focused on creating and sharing actions that are easy to take, resources people have put together, and building a library of FAQs, zines, memes, and other comms that anyone can use to help the people in their lives come to grips with a simple fact:
This is a coup.
Are we still in a coup?
As February ends, this is still a coup
